I got excited when I saw RenewMe Fitness was looking for trainers “with a heart.” The unique approach to working with older adults to improve their daily living and overall feeling of well-being is one I support wholeheartedly!

Stacy is an ACSM-certified trainer and novice fitness enthusiast. Her other professional career started with an undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and took a turn when she obtained an M.S. degree in conflict resolution. She has been interested in helping the underserved and is passionate about social justice, which is compatible with the RenewMe Fitness mission! A debilitating running injury made her rethink what it meant to "work out." Through her own struggles and limitations, she learned what made a trainer invaluable, emotionally and physically, and she wanted to bring that energy to others.

When she can, Stacy enjoys hiking and cloud watching with her husband in the Shenandoah Mountains, ending the day with a glass of wine from a good vineyard nearby. Due to her running injury, she maintains her cardio on the elliptical and Arlington biking trails. She also likes to make trips to New Jersey to visit her 98 yr. old grandmother.
